Session export: The Hangover...part dux.

It had been a long time, since the group had come together for an event. Especially on Nar Shaddaa after what happened last time. Nexu ravaging the bedroom, Zakai lost in translation somewhere in the city, Cassandra and Zuza’s sudden wedding which was nearly impossible to annul and ended in divorce, the boxing match between Zakai and Frink Tyson in front of hundreds of spectators…it was without a doubt, an adventure.

One that the group of friends wanted to avoid repeating. There were assurances, that things couldn’t possibly go wrong as long as they just stuck to the itenerary, since they had no clue still of what even started the entire mess.

Unfortunately, things don’t quite go as planned…yet again. It was the middle of the night, in a trashed presidential suite that was all too familiar to most of the group save the newcomer Miho, with hangover headaches all around. Cassandra was draped over the kitchen island, Zuza was snoring on the couch, Zakai was asleep on a blade of the ceiling fan that slowly spun around in circles with black marker on his face yet again, and Miho was curled up on a rug in front of the nearly extinguished fireplace.

Papers were strewn about, the couch was shredded open, toilet paper across the massive room, shattered glasses and bottles, everything that could potentially be destroyed was.

Something had happened, yet again. And the group would maybe come to regret it.

Evelyn was sipping her bottled water that she had brought with her for this reason. After last time, she had refused to touch any food or drinks while they were here. She ignored her wailing stomach in protest.

Sadly, during the night, they had all separated and Evelyn couldn’t find them all. In the end, she did find them here. It was already a mess. Not to mention it was at the same suite, no less.

More questions and no answers and it infuriates her. She thought they would be careful after what happened last time. What was going on?

A slight curve appeared at the corner of her lips, reminiscing the first time that happened. They didn’t find answers but the end results? Anderson was hers. And she was his.

Not to mention the Nexu they ended up taking home as well.

She waited for them to start waking up as she glanced out of the window to look down at the streets below.

Cassandra, who was draped over the kitchen island, lightly snored as she layed there.

Her armlets were off on the floor, and her pink and white jacket was on the couch. Only her black neoprine clothing and her pink top and shorts remained, as well as her boots.

In her right hand hanging off the side was an almost empty bottle of blue Tsiraki, and her pet bird Alaisy standing nearby on the floor eating cracker crumbs and shredding paper while making crow noises.

There was a squeak of noise from a neighbouring room.

Zuza had awoken beneath the mass of crimson fluff that made up her Cythraul, Frond. The hunk of pup was fast asleep, ignoring the waking wiggles of Zuza coming around and her groan as the headache from the night before returned with vigor. Between that and Frond, she pressed her face into his side and whined, opting to ignore existence a small while longer.

The fan spun slowly which was for the best. Zakai hung an in-between state of consciousness– not quite awake but not entirely dead to the world. Had the fan been spinning at a more enthusiastic rate his stomach might have had something to say whether not he was conscious-enough to be listen. For now the world merely turned and that was almost peaceful.

The suite was huge. Like, truely incredibly huge. Zakai was nearly 10 meters in the double-height main parlor. It was unclear how the young man had gotten up there, but there he turned.

Cassandra had heard someone come in, unaware it was Evelyn at the moment. That was enough to start and rouse her from the sleep she was in.

For the first time in a long time, she felt good. Her body was completely exhausted, but in a good way. Like something had whisked all of her troubles away along with refreshing her body.

She raised her right arm with the bottle and sat it on the island before she turned to her left and used her arm to start and sit herself up. Her muscles were sore.

As she opened her eyes and glanced around, she was confused. The room looked eerily familiar…but this wasn’t where the night had begun.

……

Where had it begun? She started to remember their journey here with Zakai having secured the trip. That they would behave.

But..she didnt recall who was all there. Much less anything after that.

With a glance, she noticed Evelyn over at the window. She gleaned with the light coming in from outside.

“Ev?” Cass asked, still in a slightly dazed state.

Evelyn bit her cheek.

She hated nicknames. If she wanted to be call by other names, she would’ve told them.

Why do people insist on using shorter names-

She released an exhale she didn’t know she was holding. She had been trying to work on being more open minded and understand that some of her anger and distaste may just be from her harsh upbringing.

“Yes, Ms. Oriana, I am here.” She then turned away from the window and leaned forward to grab the unopened water bottle and handed it to Cassandra.

“Drink. While you do that-” She glanced to the direction where the male Twi'lek was slowly rotating.

“I will see if I can get him down.” Then she heard movement in the other room.

“Ms. Lottson,” Evelyn called out, loud enough but not hurtful for Cassandra’s ears, “there is an unopened water bottle by your side. I would highly suggest you drink it.”

There was an elongated quiet that came from Zuza’s location before she spoke. Whether that was her waking back up, debating ignorance or simply gathering the breath to speak past Frond’s bulk would be mystery.

“Fracking… lump on top of me. Can’t move.”

As Cassandra sipped from the water bottle, she noticed Zakai way up above on the fan slowly spinning. This…was an odd thing to see. She watched him slowly spin as she continued to sip the water.

Between drinks, she took the hairband from around her right arm and reached behind her to put her hair up into a ponytail.

She peeked towards the window again and saw the vibrant lights of the city, and it was already fraking morning.

Evelyn didn’t say anything as she figured if the Nexu can learn commands, so can that massive creature as well. He didn’t seem to chew or harm Zuza. The fact that Zuza didn’t start fighting at seeing the red beast showed to Evelyn that they knew each other at least.

She can check in on Zuza… after she helped the Twi'Lek. With that, she pushed the couch towards underneath the fan, she got out her ichor blade. Right when his body was right above the couch, she jumped up and sliced the fan as the pair came crashing onto the couch.

The small droid whistled plaintively beside the oddly contorted Mihoshi. The fire was down to embers besides her as she opened her eyes and blinked away the last vestiges of sleep.

Gods above her head hurt.

Slowly, creakingly, she managed to get herself in a seated position. “Pips, please. Not today.”

<<This is why I always tell you not to drink so much.>>

Miho placed slender fingers gently over her eyes and winced at the trills and whistles of the small droid. “Please not so loud, Pips.”

The sound that came from the droid next had no translation, it was simply a loud, sharp trill that made the High Councillor wince and cover her ears. “Alright, alright.”

Miho sat there for a moment, looking around. She remembered getting to Nar Shaddaa and even meeting up with a few people. But, beyond that? It was a drunken black fuzzy.

“I think I need another drink,” grumbled Miho.

<<Isn’t that what got you in this state?>> the little droid asked with a tone of superiority.

“Shut up, Pips.”

The fan crashed to the couch, with Zakai on top of it. The caucophony filled the suite and echoed into the surrounding rooms. Zakai yelped in surprise and pain. He flailed on the cracked remains of the fan blades beneath him and struggled to orient himself.

“Wha-what’s going on? Where am I? I…” Evenlyn’s amused face centered his thoughts and reminded him of the bottle, the one with the green stuff in it, “Did you poison me?”

His gut heaved as his face ran pale. Eyes wide, Zakai sprinted for the fresher.

Cassandra held back a snicker as Zakai sprinted away, smirking instead. She recognized that expression, and knew exactly what it meant. Just as the toilet seat went up she heard it happen, he had just made it.

“So. How did we get back here? It looks like the night is still young, so I don’t think we’ve gotten into any trouble.”

This. This was why she was never going to have children.

One was sick over the toilet, the other couldn’t bother to command her own pet to get off of her, the COU CON was considering another drink-

At least, Cassandra had started to drink water.

-# And that they were all safe. Not that she was worried when she had lost them all at once. Nope.

“Long story. I hate repeating myself so will wait for the lot of you to be more… clear.”

She went to the mini fridge of the suite, which the hinges was broken and hanging off to the side and grabbed the Mynokrade from the fridge. She handed Cassandra and Miho one.

Then she opened the door to the bedroom, seeing Frond on the smaller woman. She made direct eye contact with him, harden her glare, and her aura emitted pure no-nonsense.

“Git.”

She eyed the Mynokrade before shrugging and sitting it down, instead choosing to make her way back to the kitchen island and drink some of her Tsiraki that would otherwise go to waste.

She heard Frond, whom she had forgot was there until just then, whine and pout after being told to git.

Frond was slow to meet Evelyns eye, his tail wagging hopefully a few times before a more prolonged whine signaled his resolution wavering.

The Cythraul sat up, revealed the splayed out figure of Zuza who took a moment to drag herself upright after the lump moved. She about fell backwards again when Frond enthusiastically headbumped her, tail wagging a mile a minute.

“Frond-” Zuza wrapped her arms around his neck for a moment to steady herself, waiting until he calmed before sitting indepdently again and smiling weakly at Evelyn.

“Heeey Evelyn. Thanks.”

Zakai spent several minutes in the fresher. When he emerged there was color in his cheeks once more, and while he stood on his feet he looked like a sailor who’d only recently regained his sea legs. He walked with an uncertainty that suggested not only was he physically weakened but was also unsure when he might have to rush back to the embrace of the fresher. Padding cautiously, Zakai managed to make it back to the living area and plopped himself down on a couch clear of fan debris.

“There must have been a better way to wake me up…”

The young man sulked as he shielded his eyes with a hand to his brow, blocking the rays of the early morning sun poking through the blinds on the window.

“There must have been a better place to sleep.” Cassandra remarked as she sipped on her half-glass of unfinished Tsiraki. “Good morning, sleepy head.”

Evelyn didn’t fell for the big round puppy eyes. She was not easily moved. Frond had finally moved and she hears Zuza giving her thanks. There was a moment of pause before she gave them a small nod.

“Come along.” She turned around and headed back to the main room.

She heard Zakai’s comment. He was not wrong but there wasn’t time to do the sweet and gentle caress of awaking. Evelyn simply stood in the living room as she waited for all of them to gather in one spot.

Her green eyes went over to Miho and the droid. Her own droid was off in a corner and just waiting for any orders from her.

<<I always told you this would happen.>>

Miho sighed and held the heels of her hands to her throbbing temples. Today would be a day that Pips would be overly emphatic. “Shut up, Pips.”

<<It’s not my fault. I always try to keep you from making a fool if yourself.>>

“Shut up, Pips.” Right now, she really needed something to take the edge off all the apparently sharp corners of her brain. Getting to her feet, – slowly, one might point out if they were feeling brave enough – Miho took stock of everything wrong with her. Aside from the massive headache and stuffed with wool feeling in her head, she was in surprisingly good condition. Her pockets felt a bit lighter than usual, but everything else seemed to be in order.

<<If that’s what you want, then I’ll just go mind my own business then.>>

With that, the little droid hopped down and went off into another room and put himself into standby mode.

The Odanite watched Pips wander off with a raised eyebrow. When had he ever done that? Didn’t matter that much. Nor did the odd red smudges on his chassis. The white-haired woman reminded her of someone but she couldn’t place who just then.

“Hello. Have we met before?”

She really wished her head would stop hurting so much. There had to be a bottle of something around here.

Zuza groaned softly, finding her feet before standing. She stretched up, palms to the ceiling and feeling her back pop a few times before settling back down properly.

Frond yawned.

“Screw you.” Zu stuck her tongue out at him, wandering after Evelyn and leaning on the back of a couch.

With seemingly everyone there, she hummed contemplatively, “Did anyone get married this time?”
