<@534224904917352493>. Zuza stared at the name, bright on the datapad before her. It was one that Zuza hadn’t heard in a small while, the former Consul, the one who had knighted her, having retired quietly on Selen and kept reasonably to herself in these following years. Maybe.. there would be something to gain from speaking to her? It was a busy time, crazily so, and kark what was the worst that could happen? They’d been friendly enough, it wouldn’t be that weird.
Right?
Zuza, finally having accepted the presence of the guards a Consul always had accompanying them, used them to ensure the message she sent wasn’t a total mess. If it never got responded to that was okay, but it’d be nice to reconnect at least.
Hey Lucine. Would you wanna have tea with me at the citadel some time? Been a while since I last saw you. Let me know if you're free, I can make my schedule work! Thanks, Zuza.
On the whole, Lucine was enjoying her retirement. There was a certain… freedom to living a private life. She was now free to conduct most of her more nefarious dealings through intermediaries, which left her with ample time for her research into the unnaturally long lives and power levels of the old Selenian Gods.
Unfortunately, that had hit a brick wall; she no longer had the security access to the DIA’s impressive database, which resulted in her research being stymied. She had taken some time in the sauna to try to mull over a solution. She had emerged feeling refreshed, but no closer to a solution.
And that was when the message from the current Shadow Lady arrived. Lucine tapped one lacquered nail against her lower lip as she considered her response.
My darling Zuza. It has indeed been to long. It would be my honor to take tea with you. I shall have my butler make the necessary arrangements in a time and place that is conducive with your schedule. Cheers, darling!

It was only a few days later when the promise of a meeting came to fruition. The Citadel had many rooms and services, including a somewhat secluded meeting room high in the towers with comfortable furnishing. With the knowledge the current Shadow Lady and one of the previous were to be occupying the room, tea and snacks were set up prior to their arrival to enjoy for however long they ended up meeting for.
Zuza was in her usual clothing, a green jacket with the Arcona crest sewn into the shoulder over a plain white shirt, brown pants and knee high boots. It was simple and functional over anything else, but was a formal enough outfit that Cora had given approval for it being her day to day.
She stepped into the room, way too karking early but everyone else seemed to arrive early to times as well and it was weird always being the one arriving last because she tried to be 5 minutes early and not 15 or some kist. So, this time, she was here 15 minutes early.
While Lucine was ordinarily the type to arrive fashionable late, she arrived approximately five minutes before the appointed time. For the occasion, she wore a simple dress, a vibrant emerald green that gave way to black, with silver adornments worked into the silk. A silver pendant featuring the Arcona sigil hung around her neck.
She stepped into the room and swept into a graceful curtsey. “Good morning, Zuza! It is such a pleasure to see you again!”
Her green eyes swept over thr Consul’s chosen attire. If Lucine had any negative thoughts about it, it did not show. Indeed, the redhead’s smile seemed to brighten. “I do hope I did not make you wait long.”
