Session export: Testing the Disciples

“What kind of test is this again?”

“One meant to evaluate how well your tutelage under me has gone.”

“So, it’s a test for you?”

“It’s a test for both of us. You as the pupil, me as your–”

“Don’t say it.”

“Teacher. I was going to say teacher.”

“Do you call Ruka and Cora master?”

“Yes.”

“Why?”

“Because nothing else felt right. Why do you ask?”

Morra shrugged her shoulders and turned her head to regard the Tenbriss Ya-Ir homestead that became a larger centerpiece in the idyllic tropical scenery with every step they took. It wasn’t the first time she’d visited them at their home, but seeing it always reminded her of how well the couple had done for themselves.

Bril walked with his hands behind his back, enjoying the faint scents of exotic flowers dotting the landscape; each one possessed its own brightness in the Force, like little motes of flames in a vast, vibrant ocean of life. He sensed the presence of his masters long before he saw them approaching with locked hands, like two maelstroms of power - one light and one dark - that had found a way to not just coexist, but to thrive in each other’s presence. Bril lifted a hand to greet them both, and smiled.

“Greetings, masters!”
